Most pharma plants get a flat plot. G.K. Burman's 1,65,000 sq. ft. facility in Sikkim got a hillside. That changes the first month of design. Geometrix worked the building blocks across the slope, keeping production on level ground and letting the site's natural contours decide where each wing sat. The ₹33 crore budget went into the plant itself. Several long, low production halls with pitched roofs follow the terrain, and the campus reads well from the road below. Inside, the quality standards a pharma plant has to meet stayed fixed. Only the site was unusual. Sikkim has drawn pharma manufacturers for years, and G.K. Burman's plant is one more block in that hill-country industrial map.
Geometrix Architects Pvt. Ltd. has designed pharmaceutical plants across India, on flat industrial estates and on harder sites alike. Terrain is a design input from day one.
