Henkel Adhesives and Technologies' manufacturing facility at Kurkumbh MIDC is a 75,000 sq. ft. speciality chemicals plant designed to handle the specific demands of adhesive and chemical manufacturing at scale. At ₹110 crores, this is a technically dense build. Kurkumbh MIDC sits 65 km from Pune on the Pune-Solapur Highway and is Maharashtra's designated zone for chemical and red-category industries; all major chemical plants in Pune district land here for a reason. The facility design had to account for hazardous material handling, containment zoning, process safety requirements, and MIDC compliance from the start. Geometrix handled the full architectural scope: site planning, production zone layout, chemical storage and containment design, MEP and utility coordination, facade design, and statutory approvals through MIDC and Maharashtra state authorities. Henkel is one of the world's leading speciality chemicals and adhesives companies. Getting their India manufacturing facility right technically and operationally required an architect with real industrial experience, not just a building designer.
Geometrix Architects Pvt. Ltd. has designed chemical manufacturing plants, pharma facilities, and heavy industrial campuses across Maharashtra and pan-India, working within MIDC zones in Pune, Hinjewadi, Chakan, and beyond. Our industrial architecture covers full project scope: site master planning, process-compliant layouts, HVAC and MEP coordination, MIDC and statutory approvals, and project management.
